Warranty
A Roof Is Only as Good as the Warranty Behind It.
Every Innovation Roofing job is backed two ways, in writing: a 10-year workmanship warranty on our labour and lifetime manufacturer coverage on the materials. You get a copy before we ever start.
Our labour
10-Year Written Workmanship Warranty
Ten years, in writing, on how the roof was installed — the flashing, the valleys, the fastening, the seal. If something we installed fails inside that window, we come back and fix it. No arguing about whether it was covered, because it's on paper and you have a copy.
The materials
Lifetime Manufacturer Materials Coverage
We install manufacturer-approved systems — GAF, Malarkey, IKO, Kynar-500 metal — and register your roof so the materials carry the full lifetime coverage the manufacturer offers. Because we're an approved installer, that coverage actually stands instead of being voided by a bad install.
What a Cheaper Quote Usually Doesn’t Include.
A verbal warranty
“Don't worry, we stand behind our work” isn't a warranty. If it's not written down with a term and a signature, it's worth nothing the day the crew drives off. Ask for it in writing before you sign anything.
A warranty that dies with the installer
A one-man operation's warranty is only as good as the day they close the business. We've been on Lower Mainland roofs since 2010, and the workmanship warranty is backed by the company, not a handshake.
An install that voids the materials
Manufacturers only honour their materials warranty when the roof is installed to spec by an approved installer. A cheap crew that skips the underlayment or nails it wrong quietly voids the very coverage you paid for. We install to the spec that keeps it valid.
Making a claim
If Something Goes Wrong, It’s Three Steps.
Call us
One call to the number on your paperwork. An active leak goes to the front of the queue.
We inspect
We come out, find the cause, and confirm whether it falls under workmanship or materials.
We fix it
Covered work gets repaired at no cost to you. You get photos of the repair for your records.
Selling the house? The workmanship warranty transfers to the new owner. A roof with real coverage behind it is one less thing a buyer can negotiate you down on.
